As the calendar flips closer to April and daytime temperatures soar from the plains of the west to the Missouri River in the east, there’s never been a better time for Kansas residents to crack a cold one.

With National Beer Day fast approaching April 7, BetKansas.com wanted to know what beers have the highest brand awareness in the Sunflower State. Utilizing Google Trends, BetKansas.com took a break from Kansas sports betting and ranked the search volume interest scores in Kansas from the top 10 American beer brands according to a recent survey from Statista. The top 5 from those results are the following:

Overall, the top beer brands in Louisiana are Modelo Especial (26 search interest score), Busch Light (14 search interest score), Bud Light (10 search interest score), Coors Light (7 search interest score) and Michelob Ultra (6 search interest score).
Of the five, Bud Light, Busch Light and Michelob are all brewed by Anheuser Busch, which is the wholly owned St. Louis based subsidiary of AB InBev, which is based in Leuven, Belgium. Kansas’ No. 1 beer is owned by Constellation Brands in the U.S. Modelo surpassed Bud Light as the top selling beer in America in 2023. Coors Light hails from the Rockies.
